Denmark
first weekend trip!

Didn't take long until I was back out of Sweden again.... all the way across the bridge to Copenhagen, Denmark. Went to catch up with my friend Steph who is studying there like what I am doing in Linköping.
Was just quite a relaxing weekend actually, nice to be in Copenhagen after a couple of years, though it seems to get busier and busier there. We just wandered around most of the time, catching up, and trying to teach some Steph some Danish (feel a little relieved I am in Sweden and not Denmark - the Danish pronunciation seems impossible, even though I used to live there!) My Danish friend Malena joined us in the afternoon, so we enjoyed the sunshine relaxing down at Nyhavn, and also taking a canal cruise around the city, which was really nice. We had dinner at a nice cafe and wandered through the city a bit observing the nightlife, seems like there is a lot to do there!
On Sunday, just wandered around the shops looking for nothing in particular, just tried to keep out of the heat. Went to a festival near the water in the afternoon for a little while, before I headed back to Linköping in the evening. Was a nice little weekend break!
I have posted some photos but not sure if you can access them directly from this page. So if you can, let me know how you did it! Otherwise, this link should let you see them all, have written a little explanation to some of them. The site is:

I hope it works!
Until next time

Hi Scotty! Photos are fantastic, they are such beautiful places, and beautiful girls.... Why do I get the feeling that you are only telling us parts of the story! I am waiting to hear about everything else that you have failed to mention....
Glad your having a ball, your living arrangements sound like such fun! Any room for an Aussie visitor!? Meeting such a diverse group of people and hearing their stories would be amazing. Are you all around the same age?
Can't wait to hear more,
PS - I had to cut and paste the link for the photos into IE.
